‘KEI’ is the dutch word for ‘pebble’ or ‘rock’ or ‘stone’.. The Dutch expression ‘Een kei in de branding’ means ‘A rock in the surf’, which means being rock-steady, trustworthy, consistent. We’d like our company to be like that and we’d like to put that force in every project we do… Also KEI is a combination of the first names of the two founders: Kim and Mike (where in kei we both miss one letter of our name, so we’re in balance…)

Motion stands for moving image in all its meanings: animation, motion graphics, film and now also applied to VR and AR…

So.. that’s a short explanation of the name KEIMOTION
